Terms & Conditions and Warranty Policy
These Terms & Conditions and Warranty Policy govern all appliance repair services performed by Urgent Appliance Repair LLC . By scheduling service, approving an estimate, paying a deposit, or allowing our technician to perform work on your premises, you acknowledge and agree to the following.
1. Service Call / Diagnostic Fees
Residential Properties:
- $100 service call/diagnostic fee for the first appliance.
- +$50 for each additional appliance inspected during the same visit.
Commercial Properties:
- $150 service call/diagnostic fee per appliance.
All service call and diagnostic fees are non-refundable and are applied toward the cost of the completed repair if the repair is approved and performed.
2. Deposit for Parts
Once a repair requiring parts is approved, the customer must pay a deposit for all parts ordered . This deposit is mandatory and is used to cover the purchase of required parts.
- The deposit amount must be at least equal to the service call/diagnostic fee.
- The deposit may be higher depending on the total cost of the part(s).
- Special-order parts are non-returnable and must be paid for in advance.
If the customer cancels the repair after parts have been ordered, the cost of special-order parts and any associated fees are non-refundable.
3. Estimates and Additional Work
All estimates are approximations based on the information available at the time of diagnosis. Appliances may have hidden or additional issues that are not visible until further disassembly or extended testing.
If additional labor, parts, or procedures are required beyond the original estimate, the customer will be notified before additional work is performed. No additional charges will be applied without customer approval (verbal, text, or written).
4. Payment Terms
Customer agrees to pay all charges , including service call/diagnostic fees and any approved repair labor and parts, on the same day the service is performed , regardless of whether the repair is completed or declined.
Service call and diagnostic fees are due immediately upon completion of the visit . If the customer declines the repair, the service call/diagnostic fee is still required and non-refundable.
Late Payment Policy: Any unpaid balance after the day of service may be subject to a late fee and/or collection actions. Warranty coverage is suspended until full payment is received . Failure to pay may also result in additional administrative or collection charges.
5. Refund & Non-Refund Policy
5.1 Diagnostic Fees - All diagnostic and service call fees are non-refundable once the technician has arrived and performed an evaluation of the appliance.
5.2 Labor Charges - Labor charges are non-refundable once work has begun , regardless of whether the repair fully resolves the issue. Labor reflects time, expertise, and service already provided.
5.3 Parts and Materials - All parts installed during the repair are final sale and non-refundable . Installed parts cannot be returned, reused, or resold once installed. The cost of installed parts remains the responsibility of the customer even if additional issues are discovered.
5.4 Multiple Failures - Appliances may have multiple failing components. Replacement of one component does not guarantee full resolution of all issues. Additional repairs may be required at additional cost.
5.5 Unresolved Repairs - If a repair does not fully resolve the issue due to hidden defects, additional failures, or unrelated problems, all labor and installed parts remain non-refundable.
5.6 Deposits - Deposits for parts, especially special-order parts, are non-refundable once the part has been ordered or purchased.
5.7 Chargebacks - Customer agrees not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for services performed or parts installed. Any concerns must be addressed directly with the company before contacting a financial institution.
5.8 Exceptions - Refunds may only be considered in cases of confirmed technician error, defective part (subject to manufacturer warranty), or billing error. Any refund request must be submitted within 7 days of service.
5.9 Discontinued or Unavailable Parts - In some cases, additional parts may be required after the initial work has begun. Due to manufacturer limitations, certain parts may be discontinued, backordered, or otherwise unavailable. If a required part is no longer available after the repair process has started:
- All labor performed remains non-refundable .
- All parts already installed remain non-refundable .
- Any diagnostic time, disassembly, and repair attempts are considered completed services and are billable.
The customer acknowledges that appliance repair is dependent on parts availability, which is outside the control of Urgent Appliance Repair LLC.

Our technicians are required to document their work through photos and/or video recordings during each service visit. This documentation serves the following purposes:
